Seawater dump caisson delivered to Alvheim FPSO
A 20-metre seawater dump caisson was designed, fabricated and delivered for the Alvheim development in 2006. The delivery included the GRE pipe and its steel structure.
The seawater dump caisson including steel structure was designed, fabricated and delivered for the Alvheim development in 2006.
The dump caisson has an inner diameter of 1200 mm, a total length of 20 m and is manufactured from glass fiber reinforced Epoxy.
Total weight of the dump column, including the steel structure, is 6.54 tons. The installation was carried out with a single-point lift from a blind flange on top with a 450 mm pipe spool for seawater supply mounted.
