Phenol Grating delivered to Equinor's projects Gina Krog and Mariner
A total of 9,000 m² of phenolic grating and stair treads was supplied for Equinor’s Gina Krog and Mariner projects. Delivery to DSME in South Korea was completed in the first half of 2015.
Chinagrate Composite Structures has entered into a contract with DSME (Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering CO Ltd) in South Korea for the delivery of phenolic grating and stair treads to the Equinor projects Gina Krog and Mariner. A total of 9,000 square meters of grating will be delivered, divided into 2,500 square meters for Gina Krog and 6,500 square meters for Mariner. Grating is profile-based with phenol as a binder, has an external UV-resistant coating and is electrically conductive to avoid the build-up of static electricity. The grating is tested and certified according to EN 13463-1-2001 “Non- electrical equipment for potentially explosive atmospheres per EN 50014:1997”.
The delivery was completed during the first half of 2015.
