GRP Grating delivered to Aasgard Gas Compression Project

GRP Grating used for Subsea Protection Structure, delivered to Aker Egersund, Aasgard Gas Compression Project

GRP Grating Article 15051 with pattern 51 x 51 mm and thickness 51 mm was tested and qualified to take load from falling objects according to NORSOK U-001 and 20 kJ and 5 kJ energy. 20 kJ equivalent to 600 kg dropped from a height of 3.5 m. It was delivered a total of 1,500 m2 grating Aker Egersund from January to February in 2013.

The project was awarded to Aker Solutions in December 2010 and completed September 2015. More information can be found at Aker Solutions’ website.
